Meet Capt. Escobar

My name is Leevi Escobar, founder of Lesco Outfitters LLC. I was born and raised in the heart of South Texas—Starr County, where the brush is thick, the hunting runs deep, and the love for the outdoors is a way of life.

Since I was a kid, I've been hunting and fishing on my family's land, learning the land, the wildlife, and the value of hard work. I started guiding whitetail hunts at 18, helping out on various ranches across South Texas. What began with filling feeders and taking friends out slowly turned into a career I'm truly passionate about.

Over the years, I've built a reputation for offering honest, hard-earned hunts that reflect the tradition and grit of this region.

While hunting has always been a part of who I am, my love for fishing evolved into a serious pursuit around 2011—when I took to the saltwater and never looked back. The Lower Laguna Madre out of Port Mansfield became my home water. Now, going on my eighth year as a licensed captain, I specialize in bay fishing for red drum, speckled trout, and flounder.
